The next time your kids sit down at the computer, why not take the time to show them a few fun, and educational, web sites? These sites will help kids learn about good nutrition practices and the benefits of being physically active everyday and they'll have fun while they're at it! Here are a few of our favorites:
Found on USDA's Team Nutrition website, My Pyramid Blast Off is an interactive computer game that reinforces the key concepts of MyPyramid for Kids. Students can reach Planet Power by fueling their rocket with food and physical activity. "Fuel" tanks for each food group help students keep track of how their choices fit into MyPyramid.
