The public is invited to attend the 7-11 Committee meetings for the Kernville Union School District.  The 7-11 fact finding committee was appointed by the KUSD Board of Trustees on May 11, 2010.  The purpose of these working committee meetings is to gather data necessary to prepare a report of recommendations, including the consideration to close Kernville Elementary School, to the Board of Trustees regarding options to meet the declining budget and declining enrollment within the District.  The board will solicit public comments at a public board meeting and make their independent decision after reviewing the recommendations of this committee and weighing further comments from the community.  For more information call the district office at 760/379-3651 ext 400.
