Mission Statement 

 The Kern River Valley Environmental Magnet's mission is to enhance the educational and enrichment opportunities for Kernville Union School District families by providing a flexible, alternative educational program focused on evnironmental learning and service projects.

  • KRV Environmental Magnet is a 4th-8th grade magnet program under the authority and umbrella of Wallace Middle School 
  • Administrator: Middle School Principal, Richard Albay
  • Learning Coach/ Lead Teacher: Pam Alten

  • Classrooms on Kernville Elementary and Wallace Middle School Campus
  • On site computer lab and library
  • A diversity of outdoor and special program learning environments
  • Breakfast and lunch available upon request
  • Transportation provided by parents and/or District
  • All District Programs:i.e.,sports, science labs, cross curriculum specific classes, science fair, assemblies, awards, and competitions
